SWOT Analysis Generator

Describe your business and get ten SWOT reports — strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, plus a risk level, recommended actions, growth opportunities, competitive tips and a priority score. Everything runs offline in your browser.

About the SWOT Analysis Generator

The SWOT analysis generator produces a four-quadrant analysis — strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats — plus a risk level, a priority score, suggested actions and competitive notes, so the output is a starting agenda rather than four lists.

How to use it

  1. Enter your business or project.
  2. Generate an analysis and read the internal quadrants (strengths, weaknesses) separately from the external ones (opportunities, threats).
  3. Delete every point that does not apply to you and add the ones only you know.

Tips for better results

  • Be specific: "two-week lead time versus competitors' six" beats "good service".
  • Match strengths to opportunities — that pairing is where strategy actually comes from.
  • Limit each quadrant to five points so the analysis stays usable.
  • Redo it every six to twelve months; threats age faster than strengths.

Example use case

A regional courier uses the generated grid in a planning session, matches its same-day capability to a new opportunity in pharmacy deliveries, and drops two lines of work in the weaknesses column.

What to do with the result

Bring the edited SWOT into a planning meeting, convert the top two matched pairs into quarterly objectives with owners and dates, and revisit it at the next review. Download or copy the text to paste into your planning document.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a weakness and a threat?
Weaknesses are internal and within your control; threats are external and are not. Mixing them makes the analysis less actionable.
Can I use this in a business plan?
Yes, once you have replaced the generated points with real ones — a generic SWOT is easy for a reviewer to spot.
