How to use it
- Enter your name or company and generate a set of signature designs.
- Compare the previews and pick a layout that stays readable at narrow widths.
- Copy the HTML and paste it into your mail client's signature settings.
Tips for better results
- Keep it to four lines. Long signatures get clipped and look cluttered in reply chains.
- Skip images and logos if you can — many clients block remote images by default.
- Use a single brand colour for the accent and plain text everywhere else.
- Check the result on a phone; most business email is read on mobile first.
Example use case
A consultancy standardises on one layout with name, role, phone and website, sends the HTML to the whole team, and drops the old image-based signature that was showing as a red X in Outlook.
What to do with the result
In Gmail go to Settings, General, Signature and paste the rendered preview; in Outlook use Signatures and paste there. Send yourself a test from both desktop and mobile, and reply once to check it still looks right when quoted.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does my signature look different in Outlook?
- Outlook uses a restricted rendering engine and strips much modern CSS. These layouts favour simple structures for that reason, but always test.
- Should I include social links?
- One or two that you actively maintain. A row of eight icons reads as clutter and lowers the click rate on all of them.
